HISTORY
Dollars
& Cents Investments was incorporated
in 1986 as a deposit broker business. Bev Bondy and Connie McGuire
purchased the corporation in 1991 & the business was operated within a
tax preparation storefront on Sandwich St., in Amherstburg for 2
years. In 1993 Bev & Connie moved the business to 80 Richmond St.,
Heritage Plaza and expanded our services to
include income tax preparation and bookkeeping services.
Frances DeDona became a partner in the corporation in 1997, having worked
with Bev & Connie for 5 years. Her expertise in bookkeeping made her
the optimum choice for managing the bookkeeping area of our business. Bev
Bondy manages the income tax preparation area, and Connie McGuire manages
the Investment side of the business.
In 1999-2000 Bev Bondy & Frances DeDona obtained their Mutual Fund
& Labour Sponsored Fund certification adding these products &
services to our GIC investment products. We are Deposit Brokers & Mutual Fund representatives, which
means we are not restricted to a particular company’s product. We can shop the market for you!
In 2002, Dollars & Cents
Investments became a Corporate Associate Partner with RICE FINANCIAL
GROUP INC., to better service our investment clients. This association
provides us with the tools to more effectively help our investment clients
reach their goals. We are now able to offer annuities, segregated funds and
life insurance products to our clients.
